Lass0
Anonymize text
Before a log goes in a support ticket or a document goes into a chatbot, the keys and names in it should come out. Switch on Lass0's cleaners and every capture or document is cleaned before it is copied. The same person gets the same stand-in throughout, so the text still makes sense.
A real example
The same handover memo, cleaned by the app on an Apple M1 Pro MacBook. Every combination is a real run. Highlights mark what changed.

How to do it
Open Settings, then Cleaning, and switch on the cleaners you want.
Capture a region or drop a document as usual.
The cleaned text is copied. Switch to Original in the result if you need it.
Hiding secrets and personal details runs on rules and an on-device model, so the text you are trying to protect is never sent anywhere to be protected. Pro adds three cleaners that rewrite: one makes the text about any company, one makes it sound less machine written, and one rewords at least one word in ten.
Questions
What counts as a secret?
API keys and tokens from the common providers, private keys, passwords in config lines, database connection strings, IP addresses and long random strings that look like keys. Each becomes a labelled blank, such as [API key].
Will it miss things?
It can. Names in unusual formats are the hardest. Read the cleaned text before you share it; the timeline keeps both versions so you can compare.
Does the text leave my computer?
No. Lass0 reads the region with the text recognition built into your operating system and structures it with a small model that runs on your device. The only network calls are the one-off model download, licence checks for Pro, error codes and feedback you choose to send. The privacy page lists every one.
Is it free?
The free plan covers 100 plain text copies a week, with smaller allowances for rich text, Markdown and Visual layout. Pro is $6 a month or $48 a year and removes the limits, and adds copying from the timeline, Collect sessions and the three cleaners that rewrite text.
